Ganesh Chaturthi 2021: ‘We Miss Tiger As He Is Missing Our First Ganpati In Our New Home,’ Says Sister Krishna Shroff-EXCLUSIVE
Just a few weeks ago, Jackie Shroff moved into his new family home that his son Tiger Shroff bought for his mother Ayesha Shroff. The new house is in the posh locality of Khar West with many facilities. The timing of the shift was coincidentally auspicious as it fell around Ganesh Chaturthi. This Ganpati marks their first festival together in the new house.

Ask Krishna Shroff how the family plans to celebrate Ganpati this year, and she shares, “We always have a very intimate celebration. It’s usually just the family and our helpers at home. We sit together, do puja, eat great food and it’s just a happy, nice vibe to have Ganesh ji at home. In fact, he came to our new home this year just a few days ago. We just miss Tiger as he is missing our first Ganpati in our new home since he is shooting in London.”

Tiger is currently in London shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti 2 along with Tara Sutaria. So since he can’t be at home, will he join them virtually over video calls for the celebrations? “My dad’s really good at that. He is always group calling the whole family, so I am sure he’ll do that. And if Tiger isn’t shooting and is free, he always answers,” she responds.

Ganpati is a very special festival for all Maharashtrians. Ask Krishna what are her memories associated with the festival and she reveals, “The biggest thing I have learned from my dad is that he has always brought these tiny, little, organic, clay Ganpati at home. We never do the whole visarjan out in the ocean, we have always kept it very environment friendly. We do the visarjan at home so that we don’t pollute the ocean anymore than it already is. So, that is a very important thing I have learnt from my father and that definitely sticks in my mind. Other than that, I am such a foodie that every festival I am just thinking of what I’ll get to eat due to that.”
